Lexa Ferrill, mezzo-soprano, is equally at home on the opera, concert, and recital stages. Last season she had her Opera Memphis debut singing the role of Estelle in John Musto’s “Later the Same Evening.” Other recent engagements include Mozart’s Requiem with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra, and Haydn’s Mass in Time of War with the Traverse Symphony Orchestra.  Upcoming engagements include another appearance in Opera Memphis’ Midtown Opera Festival, and Handel’s Messiah with Bach Collegium San Diego.

Jennifer Olander Anderson is a collaborative pianist dedicated to both teaching and performing. She performs actively in chamber recitals in Memphis and the surrounding region. She currently teaches piano and voice from her private studio and is also an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis where she recently finished her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in collaborative piano performance under the tutelage of Dr. Victor Asunción. Jennifer was an assistant professor of music at LeMoyne-Owen College for the past four years where she taught piano and music theory. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Maryville College and her Master of Music degree from The University of Tennessee Knoxville. She is enjoying being home to take care of her new son, Owen, born in January.
