Service Over Self, SOS, is offering fall work weekends during the month of September to do home repair in the inner city. CUMC has registered for 24 persons for 12-14 September 2008. Adults and youth 12 years and older are eligible and will be assigned to work groups of 8 per worksite. We will arrive Friday evening @ 6 pm and leave Sunday afternoon @ 3 pm. Lodging, food, building materials and a camp T-shirt will be provided. For both Friday and Saturday night, SOS will provide an evening speaker after dinner, as well as devotionals for Saturday and Sunday morning. Cost is $65 per person.
