Hurricane Helene not only devastated coastal communities but also collided with another storm that had already left several inches of rain in the mountains, causing unprecedented flooding for communities in its path. UMCOR has already begun working to provide disaster relief throughout the area.

The Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference disaster response efforts are also underway. TWK has suggested several ways we can help as individuals and as a church:

UMCOR KITS 

We have assembled flood buckets several times in our church this past year. We can do it again. Check out the assembling UMCOR kits link on the TWK website for more info. We will accept financial donations to buy supplies for the kits through 10/20, and we will meet at 5pmon 10/23 to assemble kits prior to the gathering of the Table. Donate to CUMC designated for flood buckets.
